Chinese Wall Policy

The Chinese Wall policy is a security policy that mitigates conflicts of interest by preventing information flow between subjects and objects that would create such a conflict.

For example, if two lawyers in the same firm represent companies C1 and C2, and C1 sues C2, each lawyer may work for either C1 or C2, but no single lawyer may work for both sides in the same case.
