A circuit is an interconnection of components and connections that together realise a function.
In electronics, the components are connected by conductive paths so that electrical quantities such as voltage, current, or digital signals can propagate through the system.
Depending on the setting, a circuit may be analogue or digital, and digital circuits are often divided into combinatorial logic circuits and sequential circuits.
