Definition

Continuous Mathematics

Continuous mathematics is the part of mathematics that studies structures modelled by continuous quantities, usually over the real numbers or the complex numbers, where notions such as limit, continuity, differentiability, and integration are central.

Typical objects are continuous functions, intervals, measures, topological spaces, manifolds, and solutions of differential equations.
