Durotiv is a gastro-resistant medicine containing the active ingredient esomeprazole, supplied as esomeprazole magnesium trihydrate. Esomeprazole is a proton-pump inhibitor that reduces gastric acid production and is used to treat acid-related conditions such as gastro-oesophageal reflux disease and heartburn.
