Partially Correct Key
A partially correct key is a key that, when used for decryption, produces plaintext containing a recognisable portion of the original message. This property is exploited by heuristic cryptanalysis methods such as hill climbing, where small modifications to the key are evaluated based on how much they improve the legibility of the resulting plaintext.
