Reductionism
Reductionism is a philosophical approach or methodology that simplifies complex systems or phenomena by breaking them down into more basic, constituent parts. This approach assumes that understanding the parts in isolation can provide insights into the whole system’s behavior.
In other words, reductionists believe that a complex system is merely the sum of its parts and that its properties and behaviors can be fully understood through an analysis of its simpler, individual components.
