Tensor Factor

Let

$$V=V_1\otimes V_2\otimes \cdots \otimes V_n$$

be a tensor product of vector spaces. A tensor factor is one component space $V_i$ in this product.

In a simple tensor

$$v_1\otimes v_2\otimes \cdots \otimes v_n,$$

the vector $v_i\in V_i$ occupies the $i$-th tensor factor.
