Visible State
Visible states are the data each cell exposes to its neighbours (e.g. chemical concentrations, “colour”), analogous to the “output” of a node in a graph.
Private Channel
Private channels are hidden registers inside each cell (not shared) that can accumulate information over time, much like internal variables in an agent that never get broadcast.
