Ditan
A ditan is a selective 5-HT1F receptor agonist used for acute migraine treatment.
Unlike triptans, ditans do not cause vasoconstriction, because they spare 5-HT1B receptors.

Driving restriction
Lasmiditan crosses the blood-brain barrier and can cause dizziness and sedation. Patients are advised not to drive or operate machinery for at least eight hours after taking a dose.
