Matrix Adjoint

Let $A\in F^{m\times n}$ be a matrix over a field $F$. The adjoint of $A$, written $A^{†}$ or $A^{\ast }$, as is defined as

$$A^{†}=(\overline{A}{)}^{\top },$$

i.e., the complex conjugated matrix transpose of $A$.
