Sensitivity
Sensitivity (also termed Recall or True Positive Rate) quantifies the proportion of actual positives that were correctly identified by a classification model. Formally, using the elements of the confusion matrix:
A high sensitivity value indicates that the model successfully identifies most of the positive instances in the dataset, which is critical in domains such as medical diagnosis where missing a positive case (false negative) is costly.
