Shannon–Hartley Theorem

$$C=m\cdot B\cdot {\log }_2(1+n\cdot \text{SNR})$$

where:

• $C$ is the theoretical maximum rate in bits-per-second (bandwidth) in that channel without transmission reception errors.
• $m$ is the number of inputs (transmitters)
• $B$ (sometimes $W$) is the occupied bandwidth in Hz
• $n$ is the number of outputs (receivers)
• $\text{SNR}$ is the Signal-to-Noise Ratio
