Ubrogepant
Ubrogepant is a small-molecule CGRP receptor antagonist of the gepant class used for acute migraine treatment.
It is indicated for the abortive management of migraine with or without aura in adults.
Clinical Role
Ubrogepant demonstrates rapid onset of analgesic action and is effective in populations with insufficient response to triptans.
Like other gepants, it lacks vasoconstrictive properties and carries no risk of medication overuse headache.
